De nyeste skulpturer fra Kristina Dam Studio er lavet med en blød, organisk form, som kontrast til sandstenens hårde taktilitet. Contour Sculptures kommer i to størrelser i et begrænset antal på 100 skulpturer hver. Hver Contour Sculpture er markeret med et metal ’K’ og indgraveret med skulpturens individuelle nummer. Disse unikke skulpturer brygger bro mellem kunst og design; et ideelt eksempel på, hvor Kristina Dam Studio sidder i verden af skandinavisk design.

Designproces

Processen med at skabe disse værker kom fra en workshop med den danske kunstner Katrine Blinkenberg. Med Katrine som guide, blev der i hånden skabt en række skulpturer i gips. Resultatet er organiske former, der både er engagerende og charmerende.

Kristina Dam udvalgte to skulpturer og besluttede at producere dem i sandsten i et begrænset antal på 100 skulpturer.
